About Project

Combat air pollution Ulaanbaatar City, Mongolia, with UNDP!

Ulaanbaatar is one of the most polluted capitals in the world. On the coldest days of the year, air pollution levels can, on average, reach 27 times the World Health Organization (WHO)'s recommended safe levels. To tackle this critical issue, we invite you to join this mission to help ger district households in Ulaanbaatar switch from coal to solar-powered heating, and improve the quality of air for all. A pilot project partnered by UNDP Mongolia, the Ministry of Environment and Climate Change, Ulaanbaatar City, and the Government of the French Republic.
